Most sales managers/leads are successful sales people who love to win the deals. When they get promoted to a leadership role, they have to develop new skills. We have worked with many sales teams and recently stepped back to assess and analyze the teams we have been working with to determine what is making some sales teams more successful than others. One of the biggest defining factors is the “Sales Manager/Leader” who is carrying the flag, rallying the sales troops, develops, coaches and advances the people as a true coach – someone who is on the bench with them, not in the field scoring all of the goals.
At Teneo, we work with Sales Manager and Leaders to develop their management, leadership and coaching skills. We spend time with the Sales Leaders using 1:1 Coaching sessions, to Strategize, coach and are an additional resource to develop the skills they need to be the sales team’s biggest Advocate.
